Strong and determined women helped shape the modern Yukon. The stories are presented here to inform and to educate and primarily to celebrate Yukon women.

All of these women represent a diverse group of individuals that included: entrepreneurs, entertainers, teachers, nurses, journalists, miners, and homemakers. Our organizations believe it is important to tell their stories and recognize their accomplishments.
